The Homeless

Currently, Human Heroes makes summer and winter-orientated packages for our homeless population. The winter packages include various items such as hygiene supplies, hats, scarves, gloves, chapstick, hand and foot warmers, first aid kits, water, and snacks. The summer packages include various items such as hygiene supplies, reflective night safety vests, first aid kits, chapstick, water, and snacks. Human Heroes also intends to start hosting meal events for the homeless to attend. We are always accepting donations or these supplies directly.

We are happy to annonce that with the help of donations for Christmas 2017 we were able to make 200 packages for the homeless and those in need, which were distributed leading up to and on Christmas Day. Please see our photo page. We thank everyone who donated, volunteered, and participated during these holidays!

The School System & Education

Human Heroes will soon have an office space set up as well as a mailing address. We plan to accept donations in the form of school supplies and sets of reading books to pass onto any schools in need. It’s our hope to do more in this area.

The Special Needs, Mental Health, & Disability Communities

Human Heroes will soon be hosting events such as parties, fundraising dinners, activity nights, and community talk circles to bring together people in safe spaces. We hope to create comfortable and relatable environments that allow discussions, socialization, shared resources, and helpful information and updates about other activities occurring in the community. These causes and communities have a special place in our hearts and therefore are our focus. Human Heroes advocates the celebration of equality and inclusion. We are always open to comments, suggestions, and ideas for future events and fundraisers.
