2017 Holidays
At the end of the year, Human Heroes used personal funds to make over 100 packages for the homeless that contained hats, scarves, gloves, thermal heat packets, snacks, water, hygiene supplies, and the occasional $1.
Another local nonprofit (Bridging RVA), located in the Richmond area, were kind enough to let us drop off these packages at their Christmas event hosted in a beautiful synagogue. Bridging RVA fed hot meals to hundreds of people in need, offered gifts, had Santa, and allowed us to contribute our packages to their abundant pile. Please check out their work in the community.
We are grateful for the opportunity. We also personally handed out packages to those on the street whom we passed by.
